This is a very nice series. I especially like number 2, the square format works well and Meluxine’s face. omg. just amazing. And the hands are so right. And then the light. Well I can’t imagine it being any more perfect.

Location shot for the Hall, studio work for the figure on the bier, the flames came from a blacksmith friends gas-fired forge, and Saturn is from NASA, Cassini Probe mission and therefor in the public domain. Been learning a bit on composite work, and expanding abilities with Gimp. This piece is one of what will be six when the project is done, punning off the phrase 'Special, special snowflake…' Each image will be 'patterned' after snowflake geometry, with or without symmetry.
