ARTnudes Network – Figure Models

Early Saturday morning we took off to several points in the city. I wanted to shoot some nudes in the heart of the city. This was taken on LaSalle Street in Chicago which is the equivalent of Wall Street only in the Midwest. The Board of Trade building is at the end of the street behind her and City Hall is just over her right shoulder.

On the same set as the reclining nudes I took a short series of Devi. The result was this cool feel image. It reminded me of the ice caves in the Artic. Something like Superman's secret hideout.

I wanted to shoot Devi's magnificent figure full length from above but wanted something a little different than the usual so I put Christmas tree lights under the blanket and shot in indirect natural light under a row of floor to ceiling windows.

I wanted to do something like the nightmarish imagery Kubrick did in "The Shining", beautiful and sexy yet with a touch of the terrifying. So I asked Devi to disrobe and start walking toward me from the end of the hall outside my apartment door. This and several other images were the result.

This shot is part of a terrific shoot with two wonderful ladies, Jazmine and Mila Rose. Mila (right) and I had shot several times and she called me one day to tell me she had an old high school friend coming to town who wanted to pose nude and she had suggested I be the one she work with first.
